New Dean, New Year
A conversation with. . .the new dean of the School of Nursing at Duke

Catherine L. Gilliss is the newest dean at Duke: she began work as Dean of the School of Nursing and vice chancellor for nursing affairs on October 1, 2004. But Duke isn’t a completely new place â€" she received her nursing degree from the Duke University School of Nursing in 1971.

Gilliss recently took a few moments to talk with INSIDE about her return to Duke and her plans for the future.
